Justin Sterling is the General Manager of the Wine Country Inn and Cottages in St. Helena. He has spent 15 years in the hospitality industry and is passionate about helping those around him grow in their professional journeys. Justin moved to the Napa Valley with his parents and sister when he was two years old and has watched the Napa Valley evolve over 30 years.
His hospitality career began with his first full-time job at a Value Hotel
This was a career path that came naturally to Justin. He has managed more than 200 associates during his career at nine different properties in Napa, Calistoga and St. Helena. “Whether working with guests or our team to help craft enduring memories for our visitors, I know I’m lucky to love the work that I’m doing.” This includes mentoring the next generation of hospitality professionals who take pride in providing enhanced customer service.
His workforce has made him acutely aware of affordable housing issue
Working with a diverse workforce throughout his career, Justin is acutely aware of the struggle to find affordable housing. As an employer whose workforce faces housing challenges, Justin will bring a unique perspective to the OTSH Board.
In his free time Justin enjoys golfing, live events and concerts. He is a lifelong Green Bay Packers fan and frequently can be heard saying “Go Pack Go”. Justin also takes off on weekend adventures and loves spending an entire day playing cards with his friends.
