Help Us Build a Brighter Future for St. Helena

Our Town St Helena is building momentum, and we need your help to achieve our fundraising goal for 2024!

As the year comes to a close, we are filled with gratitude for the support we’ve received from our community. Together, we’ve made tremendous strides in our mission to provide affordable housing for families, seniors, and workers right here in St. Helena. Now, we need your help to finish the year strong and bring our vision of stability and belonging to even more people.

This year, we’ve set a goal to raise $250,000 to create and preserve affordable housing in our community.

Our Goal: Raise $250,000

Your donation will directly support initiatives that ensure more families, workers, and seniors can stay in the St. Helena they love. Whether it’s preserving existing affordable housing or building new homes, your support will make a lasting difference.

At Our Town St. Helena, we believe in a future where everyone who contributes to the vitality of our community has a place to call home.

Founded in 2009 by local volunteers, we are a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to creating and preserving affordable housing for St. Helena’s local workers, young families, and seniors.

Together, we can transform St. Helena’s housing landscape and build a stronger, more sustainable community for all. To bring this vision to life, we’ve set a goal: to create “105 affordable homes by 2035” for those who keep our community thriving.

The Path to “105 Homes by 2035”:

Key Building Blocks

Supporters like you play a key role in delivering our successes, and expanding on that support in 2024 will get us closer to reaching our goals. With 14 homes already built or preserved, we are on a steady pace to achieve 70 percent of our goal.

We are focused on completing the 60 units in our production and preservation pipeline: we are on track to complete construction of 9 new rental units on Pope Street in late 2025, followed by 39 new rental units on Fountain Court in approximately 2028. Additionally, we are working to preserve 12 existing apartments in 2025. All will be deed-restricted for 55 years which means these homes will be affordable for future generations.
