Thomas Faherty
Tom is a licensed California architect, a member of the American Institute of Architects and is trained in both engineering and architecture. His firm, Valley Architects, provides a hands-on approach to each of its project, and excels at producing practical solutions to challenging problems. Tom is a strong advocate for affordable workforce housing and provides architectural design and green building consultation for OTSH.
Jeff Feeney
Jeff Feeney joined the OTSH Board of Directors in 2020. Jeff has been living and working in the Napa Valley since graduating from Chico State in 1990. He has built a successful career as a commercial real estate broker, where he’s learned about customer service and the power of relationships. Jeff is well known in the community and is not afraid to speak out about the ongoing challenges we face–balancing quality of life while providing opportunities for growth.
Ted Hall
Ted Hall is an entrepreneur and Napa Valley business leader with deep experience in agriculture, wine, specialty foods, food service, consumer products, and retailing. He is a leader in sustainable farming practices in Napa Valley and is a frequent panelist and speaker. Ted is President & CEO of Long Meadow Ranch & Affiliates, an innovative group of family-owned companies producing grapes and ultra-premium wine, olives and extra virgin olive oil, grass-fed beef and lamb, and fruits and vegetables, using diversified, organic and sustainable farming methods. Active in the local community, Ted is on the BOD of the St. Helena Farmers Market, where Long Meadow Ranch has operated a farm stand since 1991; he is an adviser on the Agricultural Education Advisory Committee for the St. Helena School District.
Rick Jones
Rick Jones also is a Director of Napa Valley Vintners and Napa Valley Vintners/Auction Napa Valley. He is a Director of Napalearns, The Napa Valley Partnership for 21st Century Education, as well as the St. Helena Hospital and the St. Helena Hospital Foundation. He currently chairs the Board of Raising A Reader.
Thomas McBroom
Tom is a retired as Executive Vice President from World Savings, where he was responsible for, among other things, facilities construction and maintenance. He holds Bachelor’s degrees in Civil Engineering and Mathematics from Bucknell University and a Master’s in Industrial Administration from Purdue. Tom is a long term volunteer for Habitat for Humanity. In addition to his work as a carpenter, he also serves the East Bay/Silicon Valley affiliate as Board Treasurer. Tom advises the OTSH Board on matters involving homeowner construction.
Peter Palmisano
Peter served as the project manager for the development of Meadowood Resort, one of Napa Valley’s most exclusive and successful resorts. He was a founding partner for Pacific Union Marketing Company and was responsible for the country’s first military base conversion at Hamilton Air Field in Marin County. Today, he is a private investor and served on several nonprofit boards, including his 20-year tenure on the Bridge Housing Corporation board, a leading nonprofit housing construction company. Peter splits his time between St. Helena and Palm Springs. Peter is also the financial partner/strategic advisor for Factory OS, an innovative company that’s pioneering offsite construction at Mare Island, making affordable housing affordable.
Erica Roetman Sklar
Erica has more than 25 years of experience designing and building affordable housing developments, including feasibility analysis, site acquisitions, entitlements, government contracts, community relations, budget development and construction management. She has served as the Executive Director of Calistoga Affordable Housing and as Operations Manager of OTSH. She is currently the President/CEO of Napa Valley Community Housing and continues to advise OTSH on housing projects.
Rick Swig
As the founder of RSBA & Associates, Rick provides advisory services to major hotel management and operating companies for asset management, hotel operations, asset strategy development and acquisition due diligence. The owner of a hotel in St. Helena, Rick is acutely aware of the housing challenges for local employees in the hospitality industry. Among his many civic contributions, he served as a Commissioner and President of the San Francisco Redevelopment Agency Commission. Rick splits his time between St. Helena and San Francisco.
Joel Toller
A successful real estate agent, Joel has an insider’s understanding of the housing market in our town. As a 40-year resident of St Helena, he has a keen appreciation of the evolution that have made finding affordable housing a challenge for a larger percent of our population. Joel’s love for the Napa Valley is evident in his community service work as a member of St. Helena Rotary, the St. Helena Public Schools Foundation, the St. Helena Hospital Board of Ambassadors, the Independent Order of Odd Fellows. His assistance in analyzing real estate transaction is invaluable to OTSH.
