Solving the housing problem will take creative solutions. In Charlotte, nonprofit, Roof Above, buys hotel and turns it into housing for 88 families. This winter, it will be used for an emergency shelter. By summer, it will begin its transformation into permanent housing for 80 families facing homelessness.
